A message received from the bus, with its source.

Returned by Node::receive.

Fields

src_alias: u16

The sender’s 12-bit CAN alias. Use it as dest when replying.

src_node: Option<NodeId>

The sender’s Node ID, if its alias mapping is known.

The node learns mappings from AMD frames, Initialization Complete and Verified Node ID. If you need it and it is None, send Message::VerifyNodeIdAddressed to the alias, or an AME frame.

msg: Message

The decoded message.
